For a milestone blog post #600 I've created a lovely mixed media artist. She took three days, originally inspired from a quote, "Many people are living in an emotional jail without recognizing it" by Virginia Sater. She took on a completely different look and story. The more I asked myself, "What is she about?" the more details I was able to create for her. I made her using paper piecing, gesso, alcohol inks, gel pens, markers, stencils and ephimera.

Really great piece. She looks so smart. It's funny how we end up with one vision but then our work takes us somewhere else. That's what I love so much about the process of mixed media. Happy PPF!
