Teddy Bear Bunnies

Just when I thought I was doomed to a life of just doodling.  I've created a painting that I can feel and my hands are dirty and the art area smells of supplies.  I'm so content right now.  Done with the gesso ripped paper canvas, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, water soluble crayons and white/black pens.  I really like creating mixed media art.

That is a very happy place- when the hands are dirty and the supplies have been used! I love the softness in this- both in terms of the subject and the look of it-almost looks like it is fuzzy!

The buttons are actually painted on. They started out as big brown eyes that I was going to turn into regular teddy bear eyes but something about the way his mouthless expression looked screamed button eyes. So I added the black and white to bring out that detail instead. I'm glad everyone liked this so much!
