Wizard and his Owl, X-ray of a Hand, Simple Clown Draw Journal

This week my Drawing Journal took me into the eyes of a wizard and the laugh of a clown as well as looking deep within at the bones of a hand X-ray. While the X-ray hand looks pretty good I'd have to say I seriously missed the mark on the wizard hand but his owl friend makes up for it a bit!

Imagine this: the girls are happily playing in the bedroom together. I sneak off, tip toeing..I've got a plan. Just in the other room I'm going to get my drawing journal it's going to be good. The time is right the chores are done, the kids don't need me. It's perfect. Down the stairs...into my office, snatching it and a pen, no markers or pencils nothing else, there will probably be no time for all that jazz. I slink silently up the stairs. I've almost made it to the comfy spot on the couch when out of no where...like a bomb explosion behind me..."Can we have a snack now....I'm thirsty...." Foiled. Until next time drawing journal, next time.

Always on the hunt for things to draw I came across two really fun drawing journal books. Ironically called, "642 Things to Draw" and "712 More Things to Draw" each page of these books is a word or two for prompts and a space to fill in. Here are a few of my recently done pages in the 'more' to draw book as well as a link to pages I've drawn with this book in the past.

Hello,thinking about my blog buddies. I've been hoping to see everyone's blog posts this weekend, here it is Saturday night already and I still haven't had the chance. BUT life has been good busy, happy and exhausted come evening really the best kind of days. I've squeezed in a few drawings throughout the last few days all drawn with just pen except the fruit salad which I added colored pencil. Cross your fingers that I can visit everyone tomorrow. I can't wait to see what you've created!
