In Love With Color Throw Finished

After finishing this throw I found that it was really a bit on the small size. More of lap cover but I did find a good use for it on my bedroom dresser.

In Love with Color Throw Update

The octagons and squares are all whip stitched together. Tonight I added the four corner pieces and laid out the placement for the twenty triangles. The sewing isn't as frustrating as I feared it might be. It's actually a lot like adding color to a pen work drawing. Just buttoning up the good stuff in life!

I still stand by the fact that this pattern is fun. I do not fear the end where I will be putting all these pieces together. However this will be very complex to construct when the time comes.

Super enjoying the ebb and flow of colors and very glad I didn't use the color suggestions with the pattern. It's a cool pattern but their color layout is ugly.

I spent a little time making color decisions. I like what it looks like on paper, as the ocotogons come together it's looking very bold. I'm hoping the cooler shades will dial it back a bit.

These are the colors I'll be working with on the next big crochet project.  Pretty aren't they?

The yarn is 100% cotton I Love This Cotton brand from Hobby Lobby and Peaches and Cream.  It's going to be the In Love with Color throw and of course I'm sharing the pattern link!!!  I believe it will be super soft and snuggly.  I'll also be sharing WIP updates as I go along drop me a note if you've made this throw before or are planning on doing it, I'd love to hear from you.
