It's no surprise that we associate this cool intermediate color yellow green with joyful experiences, most new growth starts in early spring with this color. Mixing equal parts of yellow and green fill our minds with thoughts of fertility and fresh renewal. It's believed that if you stare at this color during low times it will refresh your spirit. It's complementary harmony is red-violet. It's triadic harmony is blue-violet and red-orange. While it's split complementary are with red and violet, violet and yellow-orange or blue green and red.
