9-6-2010 Red Stapler Still Life* was an art trading card painting project that I chose for myself to practice curves, object positioning and chrome.
I wasn't sure how to make the chrome look natural as I didn't have silver paint so I tried using shades of gray, it seemed to give me a pretty good effect.
I like the lighting in this painting, I chose to make the office feel smaller, the original photograph had a boardroom table and multiple chairs.
I made the chair out of cloth instead of leather and brought the picture on the wall closer.
