Elbow of Cross Ledge Light

11-06-2011 For today's Art Every Day Month I drew the Elbow of Cross Ledge Light.  I don't have very much experience with architectural subjects.  This has given me the desire to make more.  I plan on focusing a future project on Victorian era home exteriors and embellishments.  AEDM Day Six

The Elbow of Cross Ledge Light was a lighthouse on the north side of the ship channel in Delaware Bay on the east coast of the United States, west of Egg Island Point. It was destroyed by a ship collision in 1953 and replaced by a skeleton tower on the same foundation.W
